Hail Repair Centre is a collaboration between Regatta Motor Body Repairs and Dent Garage.

How is hail repaired?
  • Light Hail is repaired using Paintless Dent Removal (PDR).
  • Medium and Heavy Hail is repaired using a combination of PDR and conventional methods.
Is PDR preferred by insurance companies?

Yes, PDR is globally recognised as the preferred method for hail repair.

How do I get my vehicle repaired faster?

If you’re fed up waiting in a long queue with your Insurance companies Hail Repairer. We can help. Here are the steps to be taken with each Insurer for us to efficiently facilitate your repairs.

Allianz – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle.You then contact Allianz and advise them that Regatta Motor Body Repairs will be managing your claim. Allianz will then send us a repair request through their online quoting portal called Estimage. Once received, we will book an assessment for your vehicle at our premises. Following the assessment we can commence repairs.

Auto & General (Budget Direct) – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle.You then contact Budget Direct and advise them that Regatta Motor Body Repairs will be managing your claim. Budget Direct will then send us a repair request through their online quoting portal called Estimage. Once received, we will book an assessment for your vehicle at our premises. Following the assessment we can commence repairs.

Comminsure – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle and email it to Comminsure. Once the quotation is authorised we can commence repairs.

GIO (Suncorp) – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle and email it to GIO. Once the quotation is authorised we can commence repairs.

Insurance Brokers – Allow Choice of Repairer

We can manage all claims through your Broker.

NRMA (IAG) – Have two different Policies

1. Choice of Repairer – Provide us with your claim number. NRMA will then send us a repair request through their online quoting portal called ORM. Once our quotation has been authorised by NRMA we can commence repairs. 2. NO Choice of Repairer – If your policy does not allow you to choose your own repairer you may be able to upgrade your policy to “choice of repairer”. Once you have choice of repairer we will be able to repair your vehicle in an efficient manner.

QBE – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle and email it to QBE. Once the quotation is authorised we can commence repairs.

REAL Insurance (Hollard) – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. You then contact REAL Insurance and advise them that Regatta Motor Body Repairs will be managing your claim. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle and email it to REAL. Once the quotation is authorised we can commence repairs.

Zurich – Allow Choice of Repairer

Provide us with your claim number. We will prepare a quotation for your vehicle and email it to Zurich through their online quoting portal Estimage. Once the quotation is authorised we can commence repairs.

AAMI & BINGLE DO NOT allow choice of repairer

How long will my vehicle take to repair?

Depending on the severity, approximately 2-5 days for light damage and 5-10 days for heavy damage.
